In order to keep pilgrims connected during their spiritual journey, Saudi Arabia will install over 10,000 free Wi-Fi hotspots throughout the sacred sites during Hajj 2025. The Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, in collaboration with the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, is organizing this initiative with the goal of improving accessibility and convenience for the millions of worshippers who are anticipated to participate.

In addition to covering important Hajj sites like Makkah, Mina, Arafat, Muzdalifah, and Madinah, the free Wi-Fi service will concentrate on busy places like the Grand Mosque, pilgrim tents, and transit hubs. In addition to using vital digital services like the Nusuk app and e-bracelet system, pilgrims will be able to connect with family members online and access real-time navigation and Hajj guidance.
